The Residences at 41 E. 8th St. is a new 35 story mixed use development located on a zero lot line property in the South Loop Neighborhood in Chicago. The project contains 220 residential units, 208 space garage and roughly 10,000 sf of retail space. The building’s structural system consists of drilled caissons and for the foundation and a concrete frame superstructure. The exterior envelope consists of masonry cavity walls and punched window openings.
