Owner
J. P. Sanavaitis’s career in the construction industry spans over 40 years. He began rehabbing multi-family properties in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood with his own company in 1984. He later went on to work as a Project Manager for Valenti Builders and later Leopardo Construction where he honed his skills overseeing the development and construction of a wide variety of projects including everything from suburban manufacturing plants to luxury hi-rise condominiums. During his tenure as Construction Manager for Legacy Development he had his hand in the development and construction of more than 700 units including luxury townhomes, cast in place high rise buildings and pre-cast mid-rise products. After joining New West Realty Group in 2001 he directed all aspects of the company’s extensive development portfolio in a variety of capacities: Owner’s Representative, Construction Manager, General Contractor. Named as Executive V.P. of Construction in 2004, he oversaw the development and construction of more than 800 units including townhomes, new construction mid-rise condominiums and historical adaptive re-use.
In 2009 Mr. Sanavaitis purchased New West Realty Group Construction L.L.C. from New West Development L.L.C. and still retains thaat Chicago General Contractors License. Since that time his company has been active in the city and suburbs with a variety of commercial, residential new construction and historical re-hab projects.
Project Executive
Paul Schmidt has over 22 years of broad based experience in the Architecture and Construction fields. He has been responsible for all aspects of design and construction projects, as well as provided seamless integration between these processes in a variety of building types. Upon graduating from The University of Illinois with both a bachelors and masters degree in Architecture, Paul worked as an Architect for three firms. He successfully lead the design effort from project inception through completion including programming, designing, documenting and construction administration on a wide variety of projects as listed below:
Senior Residential Construction Manager
Michael Foley has 22 years of luxury residential construction experience. He founded Millbridge Development Company in 1994 and began building custom single family homes in Hinsdale, Burr Ridge, Riverside, Western Springs and Clarendon Hills. As Owner he managed all financial aspects of the company as well land acquisition, custom material sourcing & scheduling trades. Over 10 years the company gained a reputation as quality builder who provided the utmost in client satisfaction. Most recently he was a Project Manager for J. Jordan Homes in Hinsdale where he assisted with the day to day operations and oversight of the companies work in progress. Michael’s role at NW Construction is managing and overseeing the company’s growing portfolio of Multi-family developments and Single Family re-hab projects.
